Was it fair for the media to form a premature opinion about Strauss-Kahn's innocence

Certainly, it was not fair for him to have had such an negative image of himself formed by the media. Especially when he was slammed with the crime of being a rapist, which was a serious offence. This would bring about much consequences for him as well, for example having his company losing business, as his clients form a negative image of him. It is also hard to get a positive image of himself back, once smeared with such a crime.
